Licensed Residents in Counseling

Licensed Residents in Counseling provide affordable mental health counseling as they complete their residencies under the supervision of a Licensed Professional Counselor. They have completed their master’s level educations and this supervised residency is the final step in obtaining their Licensed Professional Counselor designation.

Cora Wagar, MA, Licensed Resident in Counseling

My name is Cora, and I am a Resident in Counseling. My goal in our work together is to walk alongside you as you navigate the complexities of life, equip you with skills to help you thrive in interacting with your thoughts and feelings, and to live the life you want to live.

With my degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and several years of experience in inpatient adult psychiatry, I am excited to partner with you in this journey towards helping you live in freedom from unhelpful patterns, thoughts, and feelings that hold you back. I specialize in perinatal care, OCD, anxiety, depression, complex trauma, and relationship issues. I seek to work alongside you to uncover your values and empower you to use your resilience as your strength.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, thrifting, and reading!
