A Message from CVC’s Owner and Founder, Grace Petty
Grace Petty, MA, LPC
I founded Central Virginia Counseling in 2017 with a focus on serving those in our community who are struggling with mental and emotional health challenges. When Covid altered life for everyone, our firm embraced the use of Telehealth, which allowed us to expand our services across the state of Virginia. Our practice has consistently grown and continues to grow. In 2025, we opened a second location on Timberlake Road in Lynchburg.
After more than two decades of serving as a counselor in a variety of settings, I am now focused on ensuring that Central Virginia Counseling continues to provide consistently effective therapeutic services and to meet the needs of our community.
We strive to provide professional services and employ therapists with a variety of backgrounds and theoretical approaches. My hope is that you find a therapist that will be a good fit for you. I am available to assist you with finding a counselor that meets your needs.
