Luke Hummel, MA, LPC
If you're reading this, I imagine that you are experiencing the effects of life’s hardships. Whether that’s death or sickness, disappointment or change, something you’ve done or something that has been done to you, whatever it is, sometimes a season of therapy can be helpful. Therapy is meant to be an experience that brings about healing and it begins with a question: What are your best hopes from our work together?
Through this work I have seen people regain a sense of hope and direction in their lives. I’ve seen people do things they never thought they’d be able to do. I’ve seen trauma no longer hold people back. It’s been a real privilege for me to come alongside people on this journey.
Since graduating with my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University, I have provided various forms of therapy and have found outpatient counseling to be the most rewarding. When not working, I enjoy being outdoors with my wife and children and reading a book when I can. If either or both of these can be done with a cup of coffee, even better!
